Information
The following features are introduced by Shortcut Manager in the Publisher environment: Feature 1: Define your own keyboard shortcuts to menu items Microsoft Publisher doesn't allow you to define your own keyboard shortcuts to menu items and VBA macros. Using Shortcut Manager, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to existing menu items and macros written in VBE. Feature 2: Define shortcuts to commands that aren't available directly through the Publisher User Interface Publisher has a number of commands that are not readily available from its user interface. While some of these commands can be inserted into toolbars and menus through the Customize dialog box, some others are available only on other toolbars. There are still some others that are hidden from the user interface and available only through code. Shortcut Manager for Publisher surfaces those and enables you to define keyboard shortcuts to invoke these commands. Many of these commands are active only for a certain context. Shortcut Manager invokes these commands during these contexts only. Feature 3: Define shortcuts to additional routines provided for recurring tasks There are many tasks in Microsoft Publisher that we perform routinely while authoring publications. Shortcut Manager for Publisher implements these routines and enables you to define shortcuts to these routines. Click here to download the addin. |
