Launcher

The PowerKiosk Launcher utility enables you to launch single Shows with PowerKiosk support from command-line. This utility named LaunchPowerKiosk.exe is available in the folder that was specified while installing PowerKiosk. This is usually C:\Program Files\OfficeOne\PowerKiosk\.

Usage

The PowerKiosk Launcher accepts the following syntax:

LaunchPowerKiosk "filename.ppt" [ -m<from_monitor> ] [ -c<monitor_count> ] [-s]

LaunchPowerKiosk "filename.pks" [-s]

where,

-m Start the show from this monitor
-c Span show across these many monitors
-s Show PowerKiosk Session Settings dialogbox

By default, PowerKiosk Launcher assumes the show to start on the primary monitor and spans the show across one monitor. Also, by default, it launches the PowerKiosk session directly without any further intervention.

In the second syntax, the PowerKiosk Launcher loads the saved PowerKiosk Session Settings from the specified filename.

Launches the SevenWonders.ppt slide show on the primary monitor.

LaunchPowerKiosk "C:\Presentations\SevenWonders.ppt" -f2

Launches the SevenWonders.ppt slide show on the second monitor and spans the show across 2 monitors.

LaunchPowerKiosk "C:\Presentations\SevenWonders.ppt" -f2 -c2 -s

Loads the SevenWonders.ppt in the PowerKiosk Session dialog box with the show settings as show on second monitor and span across 2 monitors. It shows the PowerKiosk Session dialog box.

LaunchPowerKiosk "C:\Presentations\VegasConference.pks"

Loads and launches the PowerKiosk session stored in VegasConference.pks.
