The continuous blend effect requires two images.
It fades in one image while simultaneously fading out the other image. Here are
the steps to get the Continuous Blend effect in PowerPoint 2002 (XP) and
later versions using OfficeOne Animations.
Step 1: Insert the pictures
- Select Insert | Picture | From File... menu item.
- Select an appropriate picture for the demo.
- Click OK.
- Select another picture for the demo. This picture should be different from
the one selected in step 2.
- Click OK.
Step 2: Add Loop Fade In Out effect on one of the pictures
- Select one of the pictures.
- Select OfficeOne Animations | Emphasis Effects | Loop Fade In Out
menu item.
Step 3: Add Loop Reverse Fade In Out effect on one of the pictures
- Select the other picture.
- Select OfficeOne Animations | Emphasis Effects | Loop Reverse Fade In
Out menu item.
Step 4: Set it to Start With Previous
- Select one of the pictures.
- Select Slide Show | Custom Animation... menu item.
- Click the dropdown box of one of the effect in the Custom Animation
pane.
- select With Previous menu item.
Step 5: Align both the pictures to overlap each other completely
