PowerPoint Web Browser Assistant
addin assists you in inserting live web pages on slides on your
presentation. It uses Microsoft
Internet Explorer to display the web pages. Since Internet Explorer can display
PDF files too, you can use this addin to insert PDF files on slides. In addition
to PDF files, Java code can be inserted into PowerPoint slides if they are on
the web page. Download and install PowerPoint Web
Browser Assistant. To use PowerPoint Web Browser Assistant, follow the
instructions given below.

is supported with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, Microsoft Office PowerPoint
2003, Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 (XP) and Microsoft PowerPoint 2000. Download the 316 kb installation executable from
here . Microsoft
Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher is required on the system.
Installation Instructions
- Download and save PPWBA12.exe.
- Execute PPWBA12.exe and follow the
instructions given at the end of the installation.
Using PowerPoint Web Browser Assistant
To insert web pages on your slides, follow these
steps:
- Navigate to the slide where you wish to place
the web pages.
- Click Insert Web Browser button in
the Add-Ins tab in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 or select Edit
| Insert Web Browser menu item in the previous PowerPoint versions.
- PowerPoint Web Browser Assistant will now
insert Microsoft Web Browser control on the slide and present you with the
Configure Web Address dialog box.
- In the Configure Web Address dialog box, enter
the web address.
- Click OK to dismiss the dialog box.
- Thats all! PowerPoint Web Browser Assistant
will do the rest. It will make the Microsoft Web Browser control visit the
web address during the slide show.
