OfficeOne Set Default Slide Layout 1.2

Set Default Slide Layout addin enables you to set the layout of the first slide that gets created when you create a new presentation. To use Set Default Slide Layout, follow the instructions given below.

Set Default Slide Layout is supported on Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2002 (XP) and PowerPoint 2003. Download the 308 kb installation executable from here.

Installation Instructions

Download and save SDSL12.exe.
Execute SDSL12.exe and follow the instructions given at the end of the installation.

Using Set Default Slide Layout

After loading Set Default Slide Layout addin in PowerPoint, the first step is to configure it. Follow these steps to configure Set Default Slide Layout:

Select Tools | Set Default Slide Layout... menu item.

You would be presented with the Set Default Slide Layout dialog box.

Select the layout that you would like the first automatically created slide in your new presentation to have.

Click OK.

After configuring Set Default Slide Layout feature, all new presentations will have the selected layout for first automatically created slide.

If you want all new slides to have the same default layout, make sure that in step 3 above, the Use this layout for all new slides too checkbox is checked.
