Tutorial The following tutorial provides step-by-step instructions to use SundayStar. An Event Management company has a presentation containing the events for a particular day. This presentation is named Event Menu.ppt. Each event has a speaker presenting their session through their own presentation. The sessions presentation are Session 1.ppt, Session 2.ppt, Session 3.ppt, Session 4.ppt and Session 5.ppt. Step 1: Open the presentations, which you want to see on the secondary monitor, in PowerPoint. In our case, they are Event Menu.ppt and various session presentations. Step 2: Select Slide Show | Sunday Star... menu item. Step 3: The SundayStar Session Settings dialog box shows the number of monitors that are connected to the system. It also allows you to start the presentations through SundayStar on a particular monitor. Choose to start SundayStar on monitor 2. Step 4: Select Event Menu.ppt to as the base presentation. Base presentations appear when Alt+0 key combination is pressed on the keyboard. Step 5: Select Session 1.ppt to appear as Presentation 1, set to appear when Alt+1 key combination is pressed on the keyboard. Similarly, select Session 2.ppt to appear as Presentation 2 (Alt+2 key combination), Session 3.ppt as Presentation 3 (Alt+3), Session 4.ppt as Presentation 4 (Alt+4) and finally Session 5.ppt as Presentation 5 (Alt+5). The dialog box after these changes should look like the following:
Step 6: Click Start Show button to start the base presentation on monitor 2. The other presentations are also started on monitor 2. They are readily available to bring forward seamlessly when their corresponding key combination is pressed. |
