How do I double-click a PPT file in Windows and always start on secondary monitor?

PowerViewer associates Show on Secondary Monitor with OfficeOne PowerViewer option in the right-click menu for Microsoft PowerPoint presentation files. You can right-click on a PPT file in Windows to access this menu item. Selecting it makes PowerViewer show that presentation on secondary monitor using the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.

You can make this menu item as the default action when you click PowerPoint presentation files. The steps are as follows:

For Windows XP

  1. In Windows, select Start | Control Panel menu item.

  2. Select Tools | Folder Options... menu item.

  3. Select the File Types tab.

  4. Locate and select PPT file extension (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation file type) from the list.

  5. Click the Advanced button.

  6. In the list of Actions, locate and select Show on Secondary Monitor with OfficeOne PowerViewer item.

  7. Click the Set Default button.

  8. Click OK and again OK button to dismiss all dialog boxes.
